A blog? What a great idea!

And here we are, our blog is launched! In this first post, we explain you what went through our mind: why this blog and what you will find there!

This real-fake interview was conducted by our favorite mascot: Wardy!

Wardy: I'm here today with Yves, CEO of WeWard, who will explain everything about this new blog. To start, Yves, what is a blog in 2022?

Yves: A company blog in 2022 is a different communication vector from what we are used to, such as traditional advertising or marketing in general. On a blog we tell the things that happen to us, we tell our story, our goals, our successes and failures.

Wardy: We talk a lot about the search for meaning today, is this an important focus of the blog?

Yves: Yes, in our blog, we want to share with our community what makes us tick on a daily basis. WeWard is not just a nice app that gives rewards: it's an app that has a real ambition of positive impact on society and the environment. We'll talk about it here, but walking is a key vector to improve health, protect the planet and create social links! We also want to tell in this blog how our users fund non-profit projects and give regular updates.

Wardy: Transparency and trust are important values for service users. How will they be addressed in the blog?

Yves: We are going to describe the adventure of our product (of our application) because transparency creates trust. We too are consumers and we appreciate knowing the other side of the story: why such and such a new feature, such and such a partnership termination, such and such a particular event, such and such a decision that deserves to be known and understood by our community.

Wardy: WeWard is now a major player in mobility in France and Europe. What insights into the habits and practices of the walking world can be shared?

Yves: With 10 million users, we are indeed able to produce rigorous studies on walking and its impact from our anonymized data. They will be published on this blog!
